St Johns Ambulance HQ Upgrade of Curtain Wall Component
Glazing Refurbishment have commenced with the renewal and refurbishment of the existing overhead glazing located at the new St Johns Ambulance Cambridgeshire Headquarters.
The GR Team commenced with works with a full site survey to ascertain production sizes for the replacement system components. Our project team then liaised directly with the client to ensure our replacement components were coloured to matched the St Johns Ambulance branding.
Live works commenced with a combination of scaffolding and specialist roof access equipment allowing our High Level Trained Operatives to conduct the removal of the existing system capping and pressure plate detail. Once removed, the team completed the required cleaning and preparation works before the application of a new butyl based glazing tape across all transom and mullion lines.
With the system weatherproofing in place, the team will be returning to site this week to install replacement pressure plates and capping to the vertical facade of the property.
