G G Contracts Limited have a dedicated structural engineering department who are frequently called upon to carry out high level specialist inspections, surveys and reports to areas of overhead glazing and atria throughout the UK. Reports and audits include full condition surveys and written, photographic records noting the integrity and condition of architectural glazing, framework, seals and leadworks to the external envelope and roof areas of commercial buildings.

Typically a comprehensive high level survey is conducted throughout by one of our in house structural engineers, to include all areas of high level and difficult access glazing. Items inspected include glass; glazing system; all associated components and fixings and supporting structural steelwork. All our technical engineers are all fully qualified civil/structural engineers.

A detailed bound report is submitted to the client. This includes a photographic record of any defects founds; Health and Safety implications (if any); projection and costing of future issues and remedial advice as necessary, with priority categorisation as required.
