Glazing Refurbishment assist English Heritage
Not only does Glazing Refurbishment work with the leading lights of modern architecture in and amongst the hustle and bustle of big cities like London and Manchester, but we also work in more rural settings assisting the work of national bodies and institutions, like English HeritageWhilst restoration work is by no means confined to the countryside, our advice will help English Heritage to work with landowners, local councils and national Government in preserving and protecting hundreds of years of British history, hopefully for many generations to come. Our advice forms part of their publication Practical Building Conservation, first published in 1988, which is being overhauled, revised and updated for 2012 with contributions from industry experts, such as ourselves, to include advice on how to maintain glass and glazing with the latest in modern technology and using the most effective contemporary techniques.
Glazing Refurbishment’s comments appear in the Glass and Glazing volume, set to be published this month, and they are just the latest feather in the cap of a company which is now truly beginning to set the pace of modern innovation in glass and glazing maintenance and repair. With hallmark institutions such as English Heritage coming to us for advice, and a client history and order book that goes from strength to strength, it is easy to see why the future looks bright for Glazing Refurbishment in an industry that never stops. And, just hopefully, we might find ourselves lasting as long as some of the historic monuments, buildings and installations that are featured in the guides by English Heritage.
