Sister Division Supports YMCA Sleep Easy 2017

Sister Division Cambs Glass, Glazing Manufacturer & Installation Specialists, is backing a YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough fundraising night that will see local people sleep out for a night to raise funds and awareness about youth homelessness.The team at Cambs Glass Ltd will be sponsoring £1000 towards the event to kick start the fundraising total for Friday 3rd March 2017 at St Catherine’s College Sports Ground, Cambridge.
The fundraising night is part of the national YMCA Sleep Easy Week that will see supporters from 11 local YMCAs from as far afield as Doncaster, Exeter and Coventry sleep out for the night and raise money for YMCA services between Friday 3 and Friday 10 March.
The YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough event will run from 7pm on Friday 3rd March until 7am the following morning. Thus far, 33 people have already signed up to take part. It is the first event in Cambridge with previous events in Peterborough raising over £6,500. It is hoped the event in Cambridge this year will equal or beat this total.

Supporters who sign up to Sleep Easy are asked to pay an entry fee of £10 as well as additional funds through sponsorship.
YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough is a part of a federation of 133 independent YMCAs, forming the oldest and largest youth charity in the world. Last year, YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough provided accommodation services and support for over 450 people vulnerable young people had warm, safe and stable accommodation.
