Glazing Refurbishment invited to Batman Premiere

The Glazing Refurbishment London High Level Glazing Team – Are looking forward to their complimentary tickets for both the UK premier and the after film party for the – New Batman Film – The Dark Knight Rises.

As the UK’s premier leading high level glazing Company we were approached by the Production Team of The Dark Knight Rises and asked to conduct a Glazing Refurbishment program to the existing curtain walling and overhead glazing at The Delta Point Building in Croydon. Utilising a combination of tower craneage, mechanical access platforms and high level glazing rope/abseil technicians we were able to remove the large overhead glass panels and all the vertical associated curtain walling glass units, transport all materials from site and store at our secure London Head office.

Our in house high level glazing design team were then able to attend site and construct temporary glazed screens and overhead atriums to assist the Films Special Effects Team who needed to set explosive charges in order to create an explosive action scene within the film ( yet to be viewed ). Upon completion The Glazing Refurbishment London Division re-attended Delta Point, Croydon and reinstated the original overhead glazing and curtainwalling sections to include new primary and gasket weather, structural silicone seals.

Finally upon completion a full clean down and water test was undertaken to all the replaced overhead and curtainwall glazing at Delta Point.
