Curtain Wall Replacements to Retail Store

Working for a principal contractor, GR was employed to undertake thirteen glass replacements to a vertical curtain wall section to a B&Q store undergoing a refit in Milton Keynes. A key factor to winning these works was our ability to complete the unit replacements in time for store launch.

To commence with works, our operatives raked out the existing silicon sealant to the glazing perimeter before conducting the removal of the existing glazed units. This was followed by cleaning and preparation works so the openings were ready for the new units to be installed.

After the removal of the existing glazing and the cleaning of the aperture, our team then commenced with the installation of 13 new clear glazing panels into the aperture, as shown in our latest site photos.
Upon completion of works, we conducted an external clean to the replacement glazing face before handing over to our client for store opening the following day.
