Imperial War Museum Glazing - Completed
29th January 2016
Glazing Refurbishment are proud to have reached a milestone in the completion of structural Glazing Works at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford.
The structure, which was designed by Sir Norman Foster, required maintenance and general updating including total strip out of the internal area which involved careful removal and re-positioning of the priceless aircraft within.
Having removed and stored the glazed facade panels (some weighing in at over half a tonne) plus the structural full height steel mullions/transoms, we sourced all new glazing replacements to re-instate the whole facade to a new condition.
